The episode we sure have all been waiting to see... and that is the return of Queen Chrysalis! Just what kind of tricks does she have this time? As by the looks of things, it seems like  we're going to be seeing a duplicate version of the mane 6... sorta like the ones that were duplicated during the season 6 finale. I remember that finale like it was yesterday, but this episode will be taking things on a whole different level. It's quite creative how they actually have Chrysalis appear in a regular episode for this season and not the finale. I sure am not complaining about it though. I'm really excited to see how Chrysalis will make all of this happen. Obviously she will only be a lone wolf with this kind of thing, but we will have to genuinely see if she has any other villains help, or there are still more evil changelings out there. This is the last episode before we jump into the mid-season hiatus, and they just have got to make this a huge episode full of action, and thrills!

As we all know, we can only fit so much into one single episode in the show. Therefore, with as big of a re-appearance as this was, it was quite the direction for this episode to take. Queen Chrysalis's first appearance this season certainly did not go unnoticed. We really are more used to her appearing in finales and premiere's, but can this possibly mean more Chrysalis related episodes in the future? I certainly am thinking so! As much as i loved Queen Chrysalis returning, I just loved the amount of entertainment that this episode held. The "opposite" Mane 6 got the first appearance VERY early in the show. I can't believe it's been since season 2 since we last saw these 6 acting the total opposite of their element. It was quite hilarious for them to actually turn onto Chrysalis and totally annihilate her, but they obviously didn't get that far as the Tree of Harmony turned them all into a bark of wood. No one can simply just grab the elements from the tree. Whenever those elements are present, that tree is 100% full of power. This episode brought in the good, but yet some of the bad for these characters, but we all got to remember that this was just a corrupted version of the Mane 6 and I'm so glad that nopony got hurt.

Queen Chrysalis and her determination was top notch to get her revenge. Who really knew that she wouldn't be even able to get that revenge in just one episode? I'm kind of glad nothing too extreme happend in this episode, but yet, i'm so shocked that Chrysalis's magic can easily make duplicates of just about anypony... all she needs is a photo and a mane or hair sample. I'm really interested in what she has planned in the future. If I were to guess anything... I think she just about gave up at this point. The duplicated Mane 6 was very entertaining, especially Rarity who wanted to collect just about anything she could get her hooves on! Every time one of the duplicates of the Mane 6 started up an interaction between one of the regulars of the Mane 6, I just knew that it's going to take a lot of explaining once everyone of the regular Mane 6 get back together. It was very devastating to see Fluttershy break down and cry, but at the same time... too sweet of Pinkie to come up next to her and comfort her. Those Fluttershy crying scenes are just too heart wrenching! Whenever all of the regular Mane 6 got back together, Twilight is just the absolute best to make everyone of her friends be calm. This part right here really warmed my heart up. Anytime I see Twilight make a huge difference like this in the friendship, it's very beautiful!

Chrysalis just flew off... yup... just flew off... the next thing she is planning is beyond a mystery, but i'm SO glad that we have more future episodes possibly lined up for her!

Stay tuned for an announcement of whenever season 8 will be returning!

Not Chysalis's finest moment.
And I guess being kicked out of her home has made her a little "craaazy." Wink/Razz

But anyway, I actually really liked the Evil Clones, even though everyone but Fake Twilight essentially had the same personality as when the Mane 6 were beaten by Discord the first time.

A shame they dissolved at the end, though.
